STEM

DESCRIPTION:
STEM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and encompasses a vast array of subjects that fall into each of those terms.
The course has been created for educators interested in fostering a learning environment in which students are guided to produce original ideas, objects, and structures according to certain specifications using concepts and skills from math, science, engineering, and technology.
STEM education is active and focuses on a student-centered learning environment. Students engage in questioning, problem solving, collaboration, and hands-on activities while they address real life issues. In STEM education, teachers function as classroom facilitators. They guide students through the problem-solving process and plan projects that lead to mastery of content and STEM proficiency. STEM proficient students are able to answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and develop solutions for challenges and real world problems while applying the rigor of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics content in a seamless fashion. STEM proficient students are logical thinkers, effective communicators and are technologically, scientifically, and mathematically literate.

ERP

DESCRIPTION:
The proposed project is targeted to students in the field of economy and administration. The main purpose of our proposed project is the acquisition of work experience by placing participants in enterprises which apply modern ERP systems in their processes.  Participants, as they have a very good theoretical background in computer science and in management, will ensure a new, unique and very useful experience, so that in the future it can be applied in their workplace. In a first phase, therefore we aim to enrich the experiences of students but beyond the narrow framework of the school environment. Their "engagement" with other partners, the European experience and practical training in something new for them is the prime target of this project. Also, it will lay the foundations for further future collaboration with educational organizations that provide training beyond the boundaries of the school.

Energy Management

DESCRIPTION:
The project concerns the training of students. The main objectives and expected results of the proposed project plan are:
  • training of participants in building energy management systems and their potential in the field of energy saving and environmental protection
  • informing participants on European legislation and rules on energy management and saving in the building sector
  • information on modern security techniques in the sector's projects
  • creating a skilled human resource that will respond successfully to the new "challenges"
  • the acquisition of specialized experience through training with visits to works of the kind

eLearning

DESCRIPTION:
eLearning is learning utilizing electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of a traditional classroom.  In most cases, it refers to a course, program or degree delivered completely online. It is interactive in that you can also communicate with your teachers, professors or other students in your class. Sometimes it is delivered live, where you can “electronically” raise your hand and interact in real time and sometimes it is a lecture that has been prerecorded. There is always a teacher or professor interacting /communicating with you and grading your participation, your assignments and your tests. eLearning has been proven to be a successful method of training and education
 This course aims to deliver the basic knowledge and technical how-to to educators on the creation and support of their own eLearning modules, and knowledge on various eLearning platforms with focus on MOODLE. Participants will engage in collaborative content creation and undergo lessons on how to properly plan out, contextualize, and realize a teaching module, as well as to how to foster an interactive environment with communication between module students and teacher.
